John Warner is founder and a principal of InnoVenture LLC, which also produces related InnoVenture Community Forums. He publishes the SwampFox.ws website and a related weekly email and radio update. He is a recognized leader in the southeastern innovation and entrepreneurial community. He has twenty-eight years of experience in leadership positions as senior manager of KPMG, a global professional services firm; President and co-founder of Capital Insights, a successful SC venture capital firm; Chairman of Earth Fare, a highly successful entrepreneurial company, VP of KEMET, a global NYSE manufacturer, and co-founder of Hoowaki, a high technology start-up. He has held numerous community leadership positions and has won several awards for his work.
Butler Mullins, a principal of InnoVenture LLC, has enjoyed an over thirty year career in the conference and trade show industry. He was President of the Palmetto Expo Center (now the Carolina First Center), where he directed a staff of 70 full time and 400+ part-time personnel with an annual operating budget of $4 million and more than 500 events hosted annually. As director of the American Textile Machinery Exhibition-International 2004, he directed all aspects of the international 480 firm exhibition of textile machinery, equipment and supplies, attended by 7,500 manufacturing executives from 48 countries. He has held numerous community leadership positions.
Doug Cone is a principal of Nullvariable Web Consulting, which developed the InnoVentureSoutheast.com website. Nullvariable is a full service Internet Development company started in 2006. The company is located in Greenville, SC and leverages the latest Internet technologies to help local and international clients with everything from database solutions to Wordpress and Drupal themes. Doug has worked on many professional and personal web design projects, ranging from small local business to major corporations. Doug is a frequent public speaker on topics ranging from web design, usability to social media, blogging, Twitter and more.
Bobby Rettew is the Principal Storyteller of BobbyRettew,llc... a new media company that works with groups to create and deliver high impact video messages (stories) to target audiences. Bobby is an Emmy Award winning journalist and has a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from Clemson University. He works with large and small organizations like Greenville Hospital System, South Carolina Hospital Association, Young Office, Clemson University, BlueCross BlueShield, Anderson University, and many others to build online video marketing campaigns that raise awareness and invoke change. He likes using his journalistic, documentary skills to tell rich stories that appeal to audiences sense of identity as a "call to action." He also serves as an Advanced Writing Instructor at Clemson University teaching Business Writing. He uses a strong business communication focus teaching students the value in using web and social media technologies as means to build connections and communicate in a high paced business environment.
